We wanted to maintain the views from what was the breezeway but will become an enclosed tasting room. We also wanted to maintain the circular traffic pattern around the deck. This is why we went with the large full height sliding glass doors (darned expensive) but everything else we looked at just did not work. Our hope is that spring and fall we can leave the doors open and enjoy the breezes and fresh air. Also, the enclosed space will be large enough for a few tables and chairs for customers to use in inclement weather, maybe watching the snow fall while enjoying a little wine or mulled wine with spices. We will keep you up to date and try posting a little more often. Deadline is coming so we hope to be finished soon.
