So yesterday we made a decision among the sprinkling rain, high winds and occasional downpours to spray the vineyard. I started at around 1:30 PM. I had to stop and unclog nozzles, misunderestimated ( George Bush Dictionary) my spray amount and had to refill, so finished at about 4:30 PM. We enjoyed only one small glass of wine during the refill. During the time we were spraying we had high winds, rain, sunshine, clouds, sprinkling, light rain, and short downpours. What a great day! Luckily, the wind was blowing  due west straight across the vineyard rows so that all the spray was applied to the vines. It was a bit heavy on the east side and somewhat lighter on the West. All in all it was a good decision given the continuation of this Quirky Weather Pattern we are in.
